Mr. Mohammed Abdul Haq Mohammed Zaki

1958-2005

Dear Omnix Clients & Business Partners,

It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing away of our much loved brother and colleague
Mr. Mohammed Zaki, General Manager.

Mr. Zaki passed away on Friday 16 September 2005 at approximately 4:00AM of heart failure. He was 47 years old and is survived by his wife. His body was returned to Khartoum - Sudan on Saturday to be laid to rest by his family.

Mr. Zaki joined Omnix in 2002 and it was his mission to turn the company into a major force in the Qatari IT market; a mission in which he succeeded with great effort and diligence. 2005 will witness Omnix�s best year so far due to his wise leadership. Mr. Zaki had more than 20 years of experience in Information Technology which was used to great effect to grow Omnix into the company it is today.

As a friend and brother to all of us at Omnix, Mr. Zaki�s gentle words and wise advice will be dearly missed by all. We ask for your prayers for his departed soul and thoughts for the family that he leaves behind.

As life goes on, so will Omnix; however saddened by our sudden loss. Until further notice Mr. Mahmoud El-Deeb, Executive Director of Salam International, will take over the General Management duties at Omnix together with the management team � Mr. Mamoun Beshtawi (Sales & Marketing Manager) and Mr. Nicolaas Traut (Professional Services Manager).

Doha, Qatar " 1st August 2004, Salam International announced today appointment of Mahmoud El-Deeb as the new Executive Director of its Information Technology & Business Solutions Division. His appointment is part of SIIL’s corporate restructure and new strategy. The Business Solutions Division consists of two business units namely: Salam Technical Services " Business Solutions and Omnix Qatar.

Mr. El-Deeb is not new to the Salam as being a co-founder of Omnix Qatar in 1992. During his five years with Omnix, he was instrumental in bringing Omnix in par excellence with other top companies in the field of information technology.
With his 16 years of experience in information technology and Corporate Management, Mr. El-Deeb held a number of high-level Management positions with Hewlett Packard Middle East (HP-ME).

Most recently he served as the ME Commercial Sales Manager for the Imaging & Printing group. Prior to that, he was with Indus International (a world leader in Enterprise Asset Management solutions & services delivery management) as the Regional General Manager for five years.

Mr. El-Deeb commented, "I am very pleased to rejoin Salam. It’s like returning back to my family. I stand committed to Salam as always, and will use all my acquired knowledge and experience to achieve excellence and exceed the expectations of the division."
